I always enjoyed the coffee, friendly service, and "free" WiFi at the Serious Coffee locations in Victoria when I used to frequent that city. So I was happy to discover that a new location opened almost exactly a month ago at the South Parkway Plaza off of the Island highway south of Nanaimo.

I used to spend a lot more time in internet cafés than I do now, so I always appreciate good ones. Hope that this one manages to avoid the fate of Think Coffee Lounge and Bistro. My own rule when colonizing an internet café is to spend at least a couple of dollars an hour.

So, hello Serious Coffee! I'm sure I won't be setting up my second office there, but I expect I'll be something of a regular.
